Niger’s Defence and Security Forces (FDS) announced on Tuesday that they had killed at least 15 terrorists and their accomplices between April 6 and 12, and arrested around thirty individuals suspected of involvement in criminal activities.
According to the army’s weekly information bulletin, these operations also led to the seizure of weapons, vehicles, and communication equipment belonging to the terrorists.
Moreover, ongoing security control operations resulted in the confiscation of significant quantities of explosives, dynamite, smuggled fuel, and other sensitive materials used as supply sources for armed groups.
