Congolese Foreign Minister Visits Algeria Bearing Message to President Abdelmadjid Tebboune

Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, received on Sunday the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Francophonie, and Congolese Abroad, Constant-Serge Bounda, who is on an official visit to Algeria, bearing a written message to President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, from the President of the Republic of Congo, Denis Sassou Nguesso.
On this occasion, Attaf reiterated his congratulations to his Congolese counterpart following his recent appointment as head of his country’s diplomacy. He also reviewed with him the various aspects of the fraternal relations and cooperation between the two brotherly countries, as well as ways to give them further momentum, particularly in priority areas for both sides such as energy, mining, agriculture, air transport, and higher education, the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
On the other hand, the two ministers exchanged views on the most prominent current issues and files at the continental level, particularly those related to the Libyan crisis in light of the efforts made by the African Union High-Level Committee on Libya, under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Congo, Denis Sassou Nguesso.
