Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs Ahmed Attaf received on Wednesday at the ministry’s headquarters the State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Marek Estok, according to a statement from the ministry.
The meeting provided an opportunity to “review the outcomes of the 3rd session of Algerian-Slovak political consultations, co-chaired earlier in the day by the Slovak State Secretary and the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lounès Magramane,” the same source said.
The two sides also discussed the “positive momentum” marking bilateral relations within the framework of implementing the roadmap agreed upon during Attaf’s official visit to Slovakia last December.
The roadmap “aims to strengthen the institutional and legal framework of Algerian-Slovak relations and lay the foundations for a solid economic partnership in several priority and vital sectors,” the statement concluded.
