Iran Allows Chinese Vessels to Pass Through Strait of Hormuz

Iran has begun allowing Chinese-flagged and China-linked ships to transit the Strait of Hormuz under a new arrangement with Beijing, according to Iranian media reports cited by international agencies.
The vessels are reportedly being granted passage after complying with Iranian “management protocols” for navigation through the strategic waterway, which Tehran has tightened control over in recent months.
The decision follows diplomatic coordination between Iran and China, amid broader efforts to manage shipping flows through the Strait, a key global energy route.
