Germany: Protest in Bremen against ongoing Zionist aggression in Gaza and occupied territories
The Palestinian community, alongside the Palestinian Assembly for Homeland and Diaspora, organised a protest march in Bremen, Germany, on Saturday to condemn the ongoing Zionist aggression in Gaza, the West Bank, and Al-Quds.
According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, Detlef Greschi, a former member of the German Social Democratic Party (SPD) and honorary president of the German Palestinian Association (DAP), also participated in the protest.
Demonstrators carried Palestinian flags and displayed banners expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people while condemning the crimes committed by the Zionist occupation. Additionally, they called for the immediate delivery of food, humanitarian aid, and medical supplies to the besieged enclave.
Samer Bilal Aslan, president of the Palestinian community in Bremen and surrounding areas, along with the general commissioner and secretary of the Palestinian Assembly, said that “all international parties, including the new U.S. administration, must act decisively and immediately to end the war in Gaza” and to “ensure the unrestricted delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.”
Director-General of the World Health Organisation, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said on Saturday that the warning of global food security experts about the possibility of a famine in the northern Gaza Strip is very worrying.
According to UN data, the amount of aid entering the Strip has dropped to its lowest level in a year as the Zionist occupation forces blocked all efforts to deliver aid, particularly to northern Gaza.
In parallel, the toll from the ongoing Zionist genocidal aggression in Gaza has now surpassed 43,552 martyrs, with 102,765 injured.
