Lebanon: At least 7 martyrs and 46 injured in Zionist airstrikes on Tyre

BEIRUT – At least seven people have been martyred, including two young girls, in overnight Zionist airstrikes on the city of Tyre in southern Lebanon, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported on Saturday.

“The enemy’s strikes on the city of Tyre resulted in seven martyrs, including two young girls, and left 46 others injured,” the ministry stated, adding that body parts were found and would be identified through DNA testing.

“Search operations continue to find missing individuals,” it further noted.

According to the Lebanese news agency Ani, the airstrikes targeted three buildings in the coastal city, causing significant damage to dozens of homes. The agency also reported that a fighter jet destroyed two homes in the southern city of Nabatieh.

The Zionist entity has intensified its aerial aggression against Lebanon since September, followed by a ground incursion into the southern part of the country.

The toll of martyrs from the Zionist aggression against Lebanon has reached 3,103, along with 13,819 injured. Besides, around 1.4 million people have been displaced from their towns and villages, according to the latest report from the Ministry of Health.
