Zelenskyy’s Ex-Top Aide Arrested as Ukraine Anti-Corruption Probe Widens

Ukrainian authorities have arrested Andriy Yermak, former chief of staff to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as part of a widening corruption investigation, according to Ukrainian anti-graft agencies.
Investigators accuse Yermak of involvement in a money-laundering scheme of around $10.5 million linked to a luxury housing project near Kyiv. He denies the allegations.
The case is part of a broader anti-corruption operation that has already implicated several senior officials and associates within Ukraine’s political and energy sectors.
A court has set bail at 140 million hryvnias (about $3.2 million) while proceedings continue.
The investigation is considered one of the most significant to reach Zelenskyy’s inner circle since the start of the war with Russia.
