Zionist Aggression Against Lebanon: Toll Spikes to 2,454 Martyrs, 7,658 Injured
The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced Tuesday that the death toll from the Zionist aggression against Lebanon since March 2 has reached 2,454 martyrs and 7,658 injured, noting that these figures remain preliminary.
The Lebanese Health Emergency Operations Center stated in a release that the casualties include 100 martyrs and 233 injured among paramedics and healthcare workers. A previous toll from the aggression had indicated that 2,294 people had been killed and 7,544 others wounded.
Last Thursday, the Lebanese Presidency announced that a ten-day ceasefire had been reached in Lebanon, following the bloody Zionist aggression that has left thousands dead and wounded since March 2.
Since the ten-day truce went into effect last Friday, authorities and relief agencies have been working to recover bodies from under the rubble of buildings in areas targeted by intense Zionist airstrikes.
