US–Iran Peace Talks Set to Resume in Pakistan Next Week

Negotiations between the United States and Iran are expected to resume next week in Pakistan, according to reports from Iranian state media.
A Pakistani delegation is currently en route to Tehran to deliver a message from Washington and coordinate the next round of talks, highlighting Islamabad’s ongoing role as a mediator between the two sides. The renewed diplomatic efforts come amid attempts to preserve a fragile ceasefire and prevent further escalation.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei confirmed that indirect communication remains active. “As for the negotiations, the exchange of messages continues, various messages have been exchanged through the Pakistani mediator to date,” he said, indicating that groundwork for formal talks is already underway.
