Trump’s Day One Executive Actions : A Bold Agenda for Reversal and Reform

Upon his return to office, Donald Trump has pledged to swiftly implement a series of executive orders, most of which aim to reverse or dismantle policies set by the Biden administration. His actions will reflect a commitment to reshaping the national landscape from day one, focusing on issues ranging from foreign relations to domestic policies.
Among the key priorities for Trump are initiating a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin, likely to occur in the coming days, as well as securing a fast in-person meeting with him. Trump’s national security advisor hinted at a focus on ending the war in Ukraine, with the president-elect promising to pull U.S. funding from the conflict. Additionally, Trump has vowed to address the issue of illegal immigration by declaring a national emergency, launching an extensive deportation effort, and halting what he describes as a “border invasion.”
On the domestic front, Trump has expressed intentions to tackle policies he deems divisive, including dismantling Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) hiring practices across government and the private sector. Furthermore, Trump plans to take action against those involved in the Hunter Biden laptop controversy and hinted at the potential release of classified documents related to major historical assassinations, aiming to expose what he sees as hidden truths.
