Secretary of State Sofiane Chaib receives deputies representing the Algerian community abroad

ALGIERS – The Algerian Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, responsible for the National Community Abroad, received on Monday deputies representing the Algerian community abroad in a working session dedicated to discussing, consulting, and exchanging views on the concerns and needs of the diaspora, according to a statement from the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Secretary of State Sofiane Chaib emphasised the special attention given by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to the Algerians abroad, stressing the importance of addressing their concerns through a consultative approach. This aims to effectively meet their demands and enhance their participation in Algeria’s ongoing renewal and national development, the statement said.

The meeting is part of the continued tradition of consultation and coordination between the ministry and the deputies representing the Algerian community abroad, the statement concluded.
