Sahrawi diplomacy outlines strategies to confront the Moroccan occupation regionally and internationally

The annual Foreign Relations Seminar began on Saturday at the Sahrawi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended by President Ibrahim Ghali, members of the National Secretariat, government officials, and diplomatic missions abroad.

According to the Sahrawi news agency (SPS), the seminar will evaluate the work of Sahrawi diplomacy and its challenges for the year 2025, based on presentations from Sahrawi missions and representations abroad. It will also review the political and diplomatic momentum the Sahrawi cause has gained in today’s rapidly changing world.

Over the course of three days, the seminar will address key topics, including the developments of the Sahrawi issue at both regional and international levels, positions supporting the Sahrawi people’s just struggle, advocacy efforts, the outcomes of legal battles and their implications, the human rights situation, and the efforts of the Moroccan occupation to undermine the Sahrawi struggle and its legitimacy, with support from forces attempting to weaken international law and legitimacy, as was stated by Sahrawi Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Secretariat member, Mohamed Sidati.

The seminar serves as an important opportunity to assess the achievements of Sahrawi diplomacy over the past year and to outline future plans and objectives.
