Over 350 Companies to Take Part in Algerian Products Fair in Nouakchott

More than 350 Algerian production and service companies will take part in the 8th edition of the Algerian Products and Services Fair, scheduled to be held in Nouakchott (Mauritania) from May 5 to 11, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion said in a statement on Thursday.

The event, which will take place at the permanent showroom of Tasdir (a subsidiary of the SAFEX group) in Nouakchott, “is part of ongoing efforts to promote exports and strengthen the presence of Algerian products in African markets, with a view to showcasing Algerian goods and services, highlighting their quality and diversity, opening new partnership prospects and boosting trade exchanges between the two countries,” the same source said.

The fair will also serve as a platform for business-to-business meetings and an opportunity to establish promising commercial partnerships, particularly in light of the momentum of Algeria’s non-hydrocarbon exports, the statement added, noting that a strong turnout of visitors and professionals is expected.
