Lebanon: Two Lebanese paramedics martyred, four injured in Zionist attacks

BEIRUT – The Lebanese Ministry of Health confirmed on Saturday that at least two paramedics were martyred and four others wounded in two separate Zionist attacks in the southern Lebanese municipalities of Burj Rahal and Kafr Tebnit.

According to the Ministry, the Zionist raid targeted the ambulance team while they were performing their duties in Kafr Tebnit, located in the Nabatieh Governorate.

In a separate incident in Burj Rahal, the Ministry reported the “assassination of an ambulance worker who was deliberately targeted by the Zionist forces during rescue operations to evacuate a wounded individual.”

The Ministry of Health reiterated its condemnation of these attacks, stressing the international community’s responsibility to uphold international humanitarian law and protect medical personnel in conflict zones. “These barbaric acts against paramedics, who are carrying out humanitarian work, must not go unpunished,” the Ministry said.
