ALGIERS, April 30, 2026 – Algeria’s Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, received on Thursday at the ministry’s headquarters the President of the France-Algeria Association, Ségolène Royal, who is visiting Algeria to take part in the “African Mediterranean Symposiums of Thought,” according to a ministry statement.
On the occasion, Attaf congratulated Royal on her election to head the association and discussed with her “the various activities and projects she oversees aimed at building bridges of communication, interaction and understanding between the two countries and the Algerian and French peoples,” the same source added.
