The Algerian Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday, that a unit from the Army’s security services managed to eliminate armed terrorists who attempted to infiltrate the national borders.
“In the framework of combating terrorism and organized crime in all its forms, yesterday morning, August 9, 2025, a unit from the Army Security Services at the southeastern border of the 4th Military Region succeeded in eliminating 4 armed terrorists equipped with 4 Kalashnikov assault rifles,” the Algerian Ministry of Defense said in a statement, adding that these terrorists “were operating within terrorist groups outside the country and attempted to breach our national borders and infiltrate into the national territory.”
