President Tebboune Participates in the Continental Conference on Education, Youth, and Employability in Nouakchott

On Tuesday, Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of the Republic will take part in the Continental Conference on Education, Youth, and Employability, which is being held in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
This conference, conducted under the patronage of Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania and current Chairperson of the African Union (AU), will feature the participation of numerous African heads of state, ministers, experts, and officials from various African institutions related to education, higher education, labor, employment, youth, and other pertinent sectors, alongside international partners engaged with Africa.
Over the span of two days, participants will engage in discussions on several key topics, including the disparity between education and the job market in Africa, the impact of the digital revolution on education, and the effects of global economic changes.
The conference also aims to evaluate the progress made by AU member states in fulfilling international commitments regarding education, particularly concerning the fourth Sustainable Development Goal and the Continental Education Strategy for Africa.
Furthermore, it will emphasize enhancing cooperation and sustainable funding through innovative mechanisms to tackle contemporary challenges and equip African youth for the demands of the 21st century.
