The Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, expressed his pride on Monday regarding the current upward trajectory of Algerian sports.
He emphasized that this progress is a direct result of the distinguished performances recently delivered by Algerian athletes across various world, African, and international championships.
In a post shared on his official social media accounts, the President of the Republic wrote: “I am immensely proud of the level of sporting achievements in Algeria, a testament to the determination of our sons and daughters who have consistently honored our trust. Securing 122 medals, including 46 gold, in world, African, and international competitions within a single month is a historic milestone made possible by tremendous effort. My heartfelt thanks go out to all of you, athletes and coaches alike. Congratulations to all. Long live Algeria.”
