The 49th Conference of the European Coordination for Solidarity with the Sahrawi People (EUCOCO) resumed on Saturday with the participation of more than 260 attendees coming from various parts of the world.

On the second and final day of the proceedings, several sessions will take place, including “Respect for the Fundamental Rights of the Sahrawi People: Responsibility of the International Community,” “The Return of Field Workshops EUCOCO,” “Civic Mobilization in Europe: The Example of the Marches in France and Spain and 50 Years of Solidarity,” and “Strategic Discussion: Prospects for Solidarity.”

The 49th EUCOCO conference will conclude with the issuance of a closing statement.

In his opening speech, Pierre Galand, President of the European Coordination for Solidarity with the Sahrawi People, noted that the choice of Paris to host the 49th conference was not coincidental, and announced that the 50th edition will take place in Madrid.
