
ALGIERS-The Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Women’s Affairs, Soraya Mouloudji accompanied, on Friday, during a night out in the streets of Algiers, the specialized teams as part of an operation to assist homeless individuals. The aim was to closely assess the conditions of care for this group, according to a press release from the ministry.
“Accompanied by specialized teams, Mouloudji toured the streets and avenues of the capital searching for homeless people on this rainy night. The cases found were admitted to the Emergency Shelter Centre of Dely Brahim and to Dar Rahma in Birkhadem,” said the same source.
“The minister gave instructions to the provincial officials to organize night-time outings across the national territory, mobilizing all local solidarity units to ensure the success of the operation,” the press release concluded.
