ALGER, April 28, 2026 – The Palais des Expositions in Algiers will host the 57th edition of the Algiers International Fair (FIA) from June 22 to 27, organized under the high patronage of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, according to a statement by Algeria Exhibitions, a subsidiary of the SAFEX Group.
Spain will be the guest of honor for the 2026 edition, reflecting “the positive momentum in Algerian-Spanish relations in recent times,” Algeria Exhibitions said, noting that this participation offers an opportunity to “strengthen bilateral cooperation and explore new partnership prospects between Algerian and Spanish companies across several strategic sectors.”
This edition will be held across the various pavilions of the Palais des Expositions and, for the first time, at the Palestine Pavilion, “a modern architectural structure marking a qualitative leap in the organization of fairs and major economic events, thanks to its vast exhibition spaces and state-of-the-art equipment meeting international standards, thereby reinforcing Algeria’s position as a destination for hosting global economic events,” the same source added.
Considered one of the most prominent multisector economic events, the FIA provides an opportunity to showcase national production capacities and strengthen partnership and investment opportunities, offering a space for exchanges between national and foreign economic operators.
The FIA covers several sectors, including agri-food industries, household appliances, mechanical engineering, steel, manufacturing industries, public works, construction, and services.
Sales spaces are also planned, allowing exhibitors to promote their products and strengthen their market presence.
The event will also feature conferences and meetings led by experts and specialists, focusing on themes related to the development of national industry, the promotion of investment, and the expansion of non-hydrocarbon exports.
Held under the slogan “For mutual and sustainable cooperation,” the 56th edition of the FIA (June 23–28, 2025) recorded a participation of 684 companies, including 539 Algerian and 145 foreign firms from 31 countries, with the Sultanate of Oman as guest of honor.
