Around 8:40 p.m on Friday, a highway bridge in Shangluo City of Shaanxi Province collapsed as a result of a downpour affecting the region, leaving eleven people dead and over 30 missing.
The Chinese authority called for immediate rescue operations, assissting the victimes’ families, and urged total vigilance amongst the relevant departments to guarantee people’s safety across the regions.
