Zionist occupation kills 155 Palestinians within 24h despite ceasefire announcement

The bodies of 155 Palestinians killed in occupation’s attacks were brought to hospitals across the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, including 135 whose bodies were recovered from under the rubble, medical sources reported after midnight.
The sources said that 19 Palestinians were killed in ongoing “Israeli” airstrikes across the Strip, despite the announced ceasefire agreement, while one person succumbed to wounds sustained in a previous attack, Wafa news agency reported.
According to the same sources, 16 people were killed when the occupation’s warplanes bombed a house belonging to the Ghabboun family in southern Gaza City. Two Palestinians were also killed in an airstrike south of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
Hospitals across the Strip received large numbers of victims: 43 bodies were taken to Al-Shifa Hospital, 60 to Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City, four to Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat, 16 to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, and 32 to Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis.
Separately, the Palestinian group Hamas said a prisoner exchange may begin on Monday under the ceasefire agreement.
“The prisoner swap might start on Monday,” Mousa Abou Marzouq said in a televised interview.
This comes as the Zionist occupation’s genocidal war on Gaza has killed at least 67,211 Palestinians and wounded 169,961 others since October 2023.
