Zionist forces strike southern Lebanon, breaching ceasefire agreement

BEIRUT – Three people, including a seven-year-old child, were injured on Saturday in a Zionist airstrike on southern Lebanon, marking a new breach of the ceasefire agreement that took effect on Wednesday, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
The Ministry reported that the airstrike targeted a car in the town of Majdal Zoun, injuring three individuals.
The Zionist army continued its violations on Friday evening, breaching the ceasefire signed just three days earlier. The army fired heavy machine gun rounds at the vicinity of the “Bent Jbeil” government hospital and several neighbourhoods of the city. A drone also launched a missile at “Wadi al-Khiyam,” while other forces dropped flares over the Marjayoun Plain in the south.
Moreover, the Zionist forces shelled the villages of Talousa, Markaba, and Bani Hayan, while reconnaissance planes and drones flew over the villages in the region.
The ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and the Zionist entity came into effect early Wednesday, following more than a year of Zionist aggression against Lebanese territory, which escalated in late September. This escalation has led to the martyrdom and injury of thousands of civilians and the displacement of over one million people from southern Lebanon.
