The Zionist genocidal aggression on the Gaza Strip has claimed 72,553 martyrs and 172,296 wounded, most of whom are women and children, since October 7th, 2023, according to a new toll released Monday by Palestinian health authorities.
The bodies of two martyrs, along with 22 wounded, were transferred to Gaza hospitals over the past 24 hours, the source reported, noting that many victims remain trapped under the rubble.
Since the ceasefire came into effect on October 10th, 777 Palestinians have been killed and 2,193 others wounded, while the bodies of 761 victims have been recovered, it added.
