Sultan of Oman and Algerian President Hold Extensive Talks in Muscat

On Tuesday morning, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman and Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune chaired extensive discussions between delegations from both countries in Muscat. The talks, held at the Royal Al Alam Palace, focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and exploring broader avenues for collaboration. Additionally, they addressed issues concerning the Arab nation, the situation in the Middle East, and current international matters.

Prior to the discussions, President Tebboune received an official welcome from Sultan Haitham at the Royal Al Alam Palace. During the reception, both leaders listened to the national anthems of Algeria and Oman, accompanied by a 21-gun salute to honor President Tebboune’s visit to the Sultanate.

President Tebboune arrived in Oman from Egypt, where he was greeted by Sultan Haitham at Muscat International Airport. His visit to Oman is part of efforts to strengthen the bonds of friendship, cooperation, and consultation between the two countries.
