ALGIERS – The fourth edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair is expected to conclude with the signing of pharmaceutical industry contracts worth $400 million, the Minister of the sector, Wassim Kouidri, announced on Sunday.
In a press statement, Kouidri affirmed that his sector’s participation in the IATF 2025 has been “highly successful” and is expected to “culminate in the signing of contracts worth $400 million.”
He also emphasized that hosting this fair in Algeria represents a “significant milestone” in strengthening African-African cooperation and enhancing economic partnerships in strategic sectors, foremost among them the pharmaceutical industry, “given its considerable industrial and scientific capabilities that position Algeria as a key driver in advancing African health sovereignty.”
