Lebanon: Two Rescuers Killed in Zionist Strike on Ambulance

Two rescuers were killed on Friday during a strike by the Zionist army that targeted an ambulance in Deir Qanun Ras al-Ain, located in the Tyre district of southern Lebanon, according to local authorities.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health’s Emergency Operations Center reported that the Zionist forces continued to target paramedics and emergency facilities in the south, in blatant disregard of international laws, standards, and humanitarian conventions.
The Zionist forces committed yet another crime, adding to its numerous previous violations, by attacking a vehicle belonging to an organization at the Deir Qanun Ras al-Ain intersection, resulting in the death of two paramedics, as stated by the source.
As a result, the toll for the health sector, as recorded by the Ministry of Health, now stands at 214 dead and 321 injured since the onset of the Zionist aggression against Lebanon.
The escalation initiated by the Zionist entity against Lebanon on October 8, 2023, which intensified on September 23, has led to a total of 3,583 deaths and 15,244 injuries, including a significant number of children and women, with approximately 1,400,000 people displaced, according to the latest Lebanese data.
