Lebanon Condemns Zionist Entity’s Bombing of Sidon as War Crime

Lebanon strongly condemned the Zionist entity’s bombing of the southern city of Sidon on Thursday, which resulted in the deaths of three civilians and injuries to several soldiers from the Lebanese army and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). The attack was described by the Lebanese government as a “war crime.”
Earlier on Thursday, the Lebanese military reported that four peacekeepers and three Lebanese soldiers were injured in a Zionist airstrike targeting a vehicle at the entrance to Sidon, which led to the martyrdom of three individuals.
In its response, the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the attack in the strongest terms and called on the international community to “denounce such attacks and hold the Zionist entity accountable.” The Ministry further stated that the attack “reflects the ongoing targeting by the Zionist army of UNIFIL forces, Lebanese soldiers, and civilians, which constitutes war crimes and a blatant violation of international humanitarian law.”
The latest data from the Lebanese Ministry of Health report that the Zionist escalation in Lebanon has resulted in 3,103 martyrs and 13,856 injuries.
