Iran notifies IAEA about Zionist entity threats to nuclear sites

TEHRAN – Iran has written to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on Monday, as the Zionist entity threatens to attack Iranian nuclear sites, said foreign ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei at a weekly news conference.

“Any acts of aggression towards these sites are condemned under international law,” Baghaei underlined, adding that any Zionist “adventurism” will be met with a “decisive response.”

The spokesperson’s statement coincided with U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin’s announcement of THAAD anti-missile system deployment in the Zionist entity.

On Sunday, the U.S. opened a probe into an unauthorised release of classified U.S. intelligence documents related to the Zionist planned attack.

The documents included satellite imagery and other geospatial intelligence, revealing the military preparations of the Zionist entity. These preparations encompassed the development and deployment of air-launched ballistic missiles, the positioning of refuelling aircraft, and the use of covert long-range drones for surveillance.
