Iran Prepares Stronger Retaliatory Strike on the Zionist Entity, Warns of Powerful Warheads

Iran is reportedly planning a more extensive and forceful response to the Zionist entity, which may include the use of stronger warheads, according to sources cited by The Wall Street Journal. Iranian and Arab officials indicated that the response will go beyond missiles and drones typically used in previous attacks. This time, the retaliation is expected to involve missiles with enhanced warheads and may also engage Iran’s conventional military forces in coordination with the paramilitary Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). While Iranian troops are not expected to be deployed, the IRGC would no longer act alone.
Unnamed Iranian officials noted that part of the operation could involve Iraqi territory, with the primary targets being Zionist military installations. The decision to respond more aggressively, according to the sources, stems partly from the casualties suffered by Iran’s military. Another factor potentially influencing the timing is the ongoing U.S. presidential election, as Iran aims to avoid impacting the electoral outcome. Warnings from the United States to avoid escalating tensions with the Zionist entity were reportedly acknowledged by Iranian diplomats, who outlined this strategy in discussions with officials from Egypt, Bahrain, and Oman.
