China Condemns Zionist Strikes on Doha, Warns of Escalation

China’s Foreign Ministry on Wednesday strongly condemned the Zionist strikes on Doha, stressing its firm opposition to the Zionist entity’s violation of Qatar’s territorial sovereignty. The attack, carried out Tuesday, marked a dangerous expansion of the Zionist occupation’s multifaceted and all-out aggression.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian, speaking at a regular press conference, expressed Beijing’s deep concern over the possible escalation that such strikes could trigger in the already fragile Middle East. He emphasized that China firmly rejects any acts undermining the sovereignty of independent states, warning that these actions only heighten instability in the region.
The Chinese statement also underlined particular concern over the targeting of the Qatari-based team of negotiators tasked with ending the aggression against Gaza. Beijing called for respect of international law and urged the international community to act swiftly to prevent further escalation, reiterating its commitment to supporting diplomatic efforts for peace.
