Tens of thousands of people took part in mass rallies across 27 cities in Australia on Sunday, expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people, while calling for sanctions against “Israel” and an end to the occupation of Palestinian land.
Major demonstrations were held in key cities including Canberra, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney, Adelaide, and Cairns, as part of a nationwide wave of support for Palestine.
Protesters carried banners condemning the occupation’s genocidal war on Gaza and its ongoing assault on the West Bank, demanding accountability for “Israel’s” actions and an immediate halt to the funding of genocide.
