Algerian President Holds Regular Media Meeting with National Press Representatives
Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, has held his regular media meeting with representatives of the national press, which will be broadcast on Saturday evening at 9:00 PM on national television and radio channels.
During this meeting, the President addressed a range of national, regional, and international issues.
On the electoral process, the President said: “We strictly prohibit any interference by the administration in the substance of elections.”
Regarding the fight against corruption, he said: “We got rid of the gang that was inflating invoices, only to face another gang that is now reducing invoice values.”
The President of the Republic also addressed the situation in Mali, saying: “I am speaking from the heart because we love this country.”
In response to a question about the United Arab Emirates’ withdrawal from OPEC and OPEC+, the President of the Republic described it as “a non-event,” adding that the Arab state considered the “main pillar” of OPEC is the “brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”
