Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, held a phone call on Sunday with the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, where they touched upon the developments in the Middle East, according to a statement by the Algerian Presidency.
During the call, the President expressed his full support for the mediation efforts led by the Emir of Qatar to stop the dangerous escalation taking place in the Middle East, wishing for a swift return of calm and peace to the region, the statement said.
