Algerian Minister of State, FM, receives Nigerien FM

ALGIERS – Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, received on Tuesday the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Nigeriens Abroad of the Republic of Niger, Bakary Yaou Sangaré, who is on an official visit to Algeria, the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

The meeting provided an opportunity to review the various aspects of the strong, solidarity-based, and good-neighborly relations between Algeria and Niger. It also focused on ways to further strengthen these ties within the framework of cooperation and integration projects that both countries are working to implement across different sectors, the source said.

At the conclusion of the discussions, the two ministers signed an agreement to facilitate administrative and customs procedures for the implementation of projects allocated to Niger by the Algerian Agency of International Cooperation for Solidarity and Development.
