Algerian FM receives Deputy Chairperson of African Union Commission

ALGIERS – Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, received on Monday the Deputy Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Monique Nsanzabaganwa, who paid a farewell visit ahead of the completion of her term, the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

During the meeting, the Algerian Minister of State congratulated Nsanzabaganwa on the completion of her term at the African Union Commission, commending her efforts in advancing the continental agenda and wishing her success in her future endeavours, the statement said.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange insights and analyses on the developments in the continental context, particularly the prospects for strengthening joint African action to address the various challenges in the fields of security, politics, and development, the source added.
