Algeria : Vietnam’s PM Pays Tribute to Martyrs of National Liberation War

The Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Pham Minh Chinh, paid tribute to the martyrs of the glorious Algerian National Liberation War at the Martyr’s Memorial on Wednesday.

The Vietnamese PM laid a wreath in front of the commemorative stele and observed a minute of silence in memory of the Shuhada (martyrs) of the glorious Revolution of November 1, 1954.

He visited the Mujaheed Museum and contemplated the bay of Algiers from the Martyr’s Memorial, which offers a panoramic view of the capital.

The Vietnamese PM arrived in Algiers on Tuesday for an official visit to strengthen the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, and to boost bilateral partnership in various areas of common interest.
