Algeria Ends 2025 Ranked 34th in the FIFA World Rankings

The Algerian national football team finished the year 2025 in 34th place in the FIFA men’s world rankings, published on Monday by the international governing body on its official website.

The Greens, who recently recorded two friendly victories against Zimbabwe (3–1) and Saudi Arabia (2–0) in Jeddah, moved up one position compared with the November rankings.

At the continental level, Algeria climbed to third place in Africa for the first time this year, with 1,517.68 points, overtaking several teams including reigning African champions Côte d’Ivoire, who are ranked 42nd globally.

The Algerian side will begin their continental campaign on Wednesday, December 24, against Sudan at 4:00 p.m., before facing Burkina Faso on Sunday, December 28, at 6:30 p.m., and Equatorial Guinea on Wednesday, December 31, at 5:00 p.m.
