Algeria : Aslaoui Receives President of Ethiopia’s Council of Constitutional Inquiry

The President of the Constitutional Court, Leila Aslaoui, received on Wednesday, in Algiers, the President of Ethiopia’s Council of Constitutional Inquiry, Tewodros Mihret Kebede, according to a statement from the Court.

This meeting is part of bilateral meetings held by the President of the Constitutional Court with heads of delegations participating in the 19th Executive Bureau of the Conference of African Constitutional Jurisdictions.

The discussions provided an opportunity to highlight “the strength of historical ties between Algeria and Ethiopia and to give concrete expression to shared aspirations for deepening institutional cooperation in judicial and constitutional matters, helping to reinforce the rule of law and institutions across the African continent,” said the statement.
