The Algerian national airline Air Algérie announced Tuesday, in a statement, the launch of two new international routes linking Algiers to Guangzhou (China) and Rotterdam (Netherlands).
The first flights on these routes were operated on October 27, 2025, to Guangzhou, and on October 28 to Rotterdam, the statement added.
“This initiative is part of the company’s strategy to strengthen its international presence and connect Algeria to major economic and commercial hubs in Asia and Europe, thus offering its customers more direct destinations and comfortable travel options,” the airline said.
Air Algérie reaffirmed in its statement “its commitment to continue modernizing its fleet and expanding its network, thereby helping consolidate the national carrier’s position and strengthening Algeria’s role as a regional air transport hub.”
