Zionist occupation orders evacuation of Kamal Adwan Hospital, paralysing its operations

GAZA – The Zionist occupation’s airstrikes across the Gaza Strip resulted in at least 21 Palestinian martyrs, and 61 others injured in the past 24 hours, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.
Palestinian medics said eight people, including children, were martyred in the Musa Bin Nusayr School that sheltered displaced families in Gaza City. Moreover, a Zionist airstrike on a car claimed the lives of four Palestinians.
At least five other Palestinians were martyred in two separate airstrikes in Rafah and Khan Younis, south of the enclave.
The occupation forces launched more attacks on the barely functioning Kamal Adwan Hospital in besieged North Gaza, after ordering staff to evacuate the hospital and move patients and injured people.
The director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, Hussam Abu Safiya, said the mission was “next to impossible” because staff did not have ambulances to move the patients.
In recent days, the Zionist forces have launched several assaults on the hospital’s power generators, solar panels, and ICU, rendering essential departments non-operational.
According to witnesses, people inside the hospital gathered in one area, away from windows and other spots exposed to fire from the occupation’s tanks and quadcopters.
A new Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) report described the situation in Gaza as “life in a death trap.”
“People in Gaza are struggling to survive apocalyptic conditions, but nowhere is safe, no one is spared, and there is no exit from this shattered enclave,” said Christopher Lockyear, MSF secretary general, who visited Gaza earlier this year.
The MSF underscored that the forced displacement of Palestinians and the relentless Zionist bombardments are “clear signs of ethnic cleansing,” adding that “what medical teams have witnessed on the ground is consistent with the descriptions provided by an increasing number of legal experts and organisations concluding that genocide is taking place in Gaza.”
“The signs of ethnic cleansing and the ongoing devastation—including mass killings, severe physical and mental health injuries, forced displacement, and impossible conditions of life for Palestinians under siege and bombardment—are undeniable,” Lockyear said.
The Zionist occupation’s genocidal war on Gaza has resulted in at least 45,227 Palestinian martyrs and wounded 107,573 since October 7, 2023.
