The genocidal Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip has left 71,667 martyrs and 171,434 wounded, mostly women and children, since 7 October 2023, according to a new toll announced Wednesday by Palestinian health authorities.
The bodies of five martyrs and six wounded have been transferred to hospitals in Gaza in the last 24 hours, the same source said, noting that many victims are still under the rubble.
Since the ceasefire came into effect on October 10, 492 Palestinians have been killed and 1,356 others wounded, while the bodies of 715 martyrs have been recovered, according to the same authorities.
