Vietnamese PM Hails Algeria’s Achievements, Affirms Consensus on Boosting Bilateral Ties

The Prime Minister of Vietnam, Pham Minh Chinh, commended the achievements realized by Algeria in recent years, which would help “forge a joint force and advance cooperation to serve both countries’ interests,” following his joint statement with Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb on Wednesday in Algiers.

The Vietnamese official affirmed that both nations achieved “broad consensus on the principles and measures aimed at strengthening their relations” with agreement to “upgrade these ties to a strategic partnership, reflecting a high level of political trust at all levels and broadening cooperation across all sectors.” He also noted that the meeting enabled agreement on increasing exchanges of high-level delegations and local officials to build trust and mutual understanding on the political front, while bolstering bilateral and multilateral mechanisms concerning the economy, trade and investment.
