Syrian Embassy in London Reopens After 14 Years of Closure

The Syrian Embassy in London has reopened after 14 years of closure, the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.
Syrian Foreign Minister Assaad al-Chibani raised the Syrian flag over the embassy building in London, marking the resumption of its activity after 14 years of closure, the ministry said Thursday in a statement.
Al-Chibani also met, on this occasion, with his British counterpart Yvette Cooper to discuss prospects for developing Syrian-British relations, the same source added.
