Spain’s PM Urges Suspension of EU-Zionist Entity Partnership Over Gaza Genocide

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez on Friday called for the immediate suspension of the partnership agreement between the European Union and the Zionist entity, citing genocidal crimes committed by Zionist forces in the Gaza Strip.

Speaking before the Spanish Parliament, Sánchez sharply criticized Zionist authorities, asserting that their actions would be remembered as one of the darkest chapters of the 21st century, according to Anadolu Agency.

Referring to a report presented by EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas on June 23, Sánchez said: “The report concludes there is more than sufficient evidence proving [the Zionist entity] has violated Article 2 of the agreement, which is based on respect for human rights.”

He lamented that the EU has yet to take any action in response.

“No EU partner can trample its founding principles or use starvation as a weapon to annihilate a legitimate state (Palestine) while claiming to remain our ally,” Sánchez declared.

He concluded by stating: “We cannot be complicit in what history will record as the century’s greatest genocide, by succumbing to indifference, hesitation, or political calculations.”
