Somalia: African Union PSC Urges Zionist Entity to Withdraw its Recognition of Somaliland

The AU Peace and Security Council (PSC) urged the Zionist entity on Tuesday to “immediately rescind” its recognition of the “so-called Republic of Somaliland.” In a statement published on its website following a ministerial meeting held on Tuesday, the AU PSC condemned “in the strongest terms the unilateral recognition by (the Zionist entity) of the so-called Republic of Somaliland,” calling on it to immediately reverse its decision.

Several countries and organizations have condemned the Zionist entity’s unilateral decision to recognize Somaliland, calling on it to reverse the move while reaffirming their support for Somalia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
