Minister Ahmed Attaf arrives in Addis Ababa as special envoy of Algerian President

ADDIS ABABA – Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs and African Affairs Ahmed Attaf arrived on Sunday in Addis Ababa, the capital of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, for an official visit as a special envoy of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
The visit is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the tradition of consultation and coordination between the two countries and to elevate their bilateral relations to the highest level, the source added.
During his stay in Addis Ababa, the Algerian Minister of State is expected to be received by Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali, to whom he will deliver a written message from President Abdelmadjid Tebboune. Moreover, he will be welcomed by Ethiopian President Taye Atseke Selassie and engage in discussions with Ethiopian Foreign Minister Gedion Timothewos.
