Lebanon: Four Peacekeepers and Three Lebanese Troops Injured in Zionist Strike

On Thursday, four Malaysian peacekeepers and three Lebanese soldiers sustained injuries in a Zionist strike that targeted a vehicle at the entrance of Sidon, a city in southern Lebanon. This attack resulted in the deaths of three individuals, as reported by the Lebanese army.
In a communiqué, the military stated, “The enemy’s strike targeted a vehicle, resulting in the martyrdom of three passengers.” It further clarified that this incident occurred “as a convoy of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) was passing through an army checkpoint.”
According to the army, the injured peacekeepers are part of the Malaysian contingent of the UN force, which has been deployed in southern Lebanon since 1978.
Additionally, intense strikes from the Zionist forces targeted the southern suburbs of Beirut overnight, including one near Beirut International Airport. However, operations at the airport continue to run normally, as confirmed earlier by the Lebanese Minister of Transport.
