Lebanon: At Least 52 Killed in Zionist Strikes Over 24 Hours

At least 52 people were killed and 154 others injured in Zionist military strikes targeting Lebanon over the past 24 hours, the Lebanese Ministry of Health said Tuesday.
A previous toll had reported 31 dead and 149 injured.
“The toll may rise as rescue operations continue in the Jnah area and in the Burj el-Barajneh camp, which were bombed Monday evening,” the ministry said in a statement.
Despite a ceasefire agreement in place since late November 2024, Zionist forces have continued operations in Lebanon, according to Lebanese authorities, resulting in further casualties.
The ceasefire agreement stipulated that Zionist forces would withdraw from southern Lebanon. However, the Zionist troops continue to maintain five positions on Lebanese territory, a deployment criticized by Lebanese authorities, who are calling for a full withdrawal.
